Default GVG Rating Points

When you win or lose a GvG you have rating points added or taken away from your guild total. Obviously you would get less points for beating a #3000 guild than you'd get for beating a #20 guild, but is there an accurate skill calculator, or some definate method of determining how many points you would get from beating other guilds depending on the rating of both participating??
Any feed back would be appreciated.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELO_rating_system

It is based on the ELO rating system, originally made for the international chess ranking system.

No problem.

Also an interesting article Moskel wrote on the PPG (Points Per Game) system you may want to read, if you are really interested.

Age of Mythology used the ELO system, someone made a program where you could enter your rating and your opponents and check how the outcome would affect your rating. pretty sure something similar could be done for GW.

well. doesn't really matter. when you see what rank our oponent is. you will lose or gain points. there is no way to know ahead of time which guild you will play
